BLUEMONT, VA. Here are photos of the Indian Village hosted by Sanctuary on the Trail.  See a Native American traditional harvest ceremony with children bringing in the harvest. Next is the ribbon cutting by the Village Montessori School at Bluemont co-founder Toby Gress complete with Native American Indian honor guard, teachers, volunteers and supporters.
This event is a result of much work between Sanctuary on the Trail volunteers with Ben Drenning, the Montessori's school lead primary director along with Native American artists who helped teach 40+ children how to build the village, thanks to generous support from Ken and Julia Falke and the Virginia Commission for the Arts grant.

Then on Sept. 17, during the Indian Village grand opening, the Montessori school children brought in the harvest and became ambassadors for the general public as part of the 47th annual Bluemont Fair.
More than 10,000 people attended the fair with more than half stopping to visit the Indian Village during the 2-day event.
